Market risk

Bitcoin's price has historically had 30-50% intra-year drawdowns and full bear markets exceeding -80%. Past performance does not predict future results. Dollar-cost averaging is a tool to manage entry-timing risk, not to eliminate market risk.

Counterparty risk

Your funds sit on your chosen exchange (BitOasis, OKX, Binance, etc.) until you withdraw them to self-custody. If an exchange fails, freezes withdrawals, or is hacked, your funds at that exchange are at risk. We recommend regular withdrawal to a hardware wallet you control — use the dashboard's Withdraw-now flow to sweep accumulated BTC whenever the balance is big enough that the on-chain fee is a small fraction.

API-key risk

The Service operates by signing API requests with credentials you provide. If your credentials leak or our infrastructure is compromised, an attacker may be able to place trades on your exchange account. To limit blast radius:

• Use trade-only API scope (no withdraw permission) when possible.
• IP-whitelist your API key to our infrastructure IPs.
• Whitelist destination addresses at the exchange before using the dashboard's Withdraw-now flow.
• Rotate keys periodically.

Software risk

The Service is software, and software has bugs. We test extensively and operate dry-run-first by default, but no test suite covers every market condition. A logic error could in principle cause unintended trades. The Service's risk-manager subsystem (daily spend caps, single-buy caps, auto-pause after consecutive failures) is designed to limit damage if this happens — we recommend you configure conservative caps.

Regulatory risk

Cryptocurrency regulations are evolving in the UAE and globally. Changes in tax treatment, exchange licensing, or capital-controls rules could affect your ability to use the Service or your exchange. You are responsible for compliance with rules that apply to you.

The Service is software. It is not a financial advisor, tax advisor, or legal advisor. Pricing-strategy defaults, overlays, and any commentary in the dashboard or marketing materials are neutral software features — not recommendations specific to your financial situation. Consult a qualified professional for advice tailored to your circumstances.
